Chapel Time

Coming together as a Christian community for chapel is one of Luther South's distinctive practices. While Christ is the center of our academic life, it is important to come together and praise and worship as a body of belivers.

God tells us to gather as a corporate body of believers. We have such a privilege and opportunity to freely gather with other believers worshiping the one and only true God.

Purposes of Chapel

A time for students, faculty and staff to gather as a corporate body, pausing in the busyness of our day to focus our attention on God.

A time for all to grow spiritually in a deeper relationship with God.

A time for students to become actively involved in leading others in devotional times with God.

Prayer and Meditation Chapel

The prayer and meditation chapel is a special place for students teachers to talk privately with God. Everyone is encouraged to use the chapel.
