Admissions : Admission Policy

Luther High School South admits students of any race, sex, color, or national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally made available to students. There is no discrimination on the basis of race, sex, color, or national or ethnic origin in regard to any and all policies that have been adopted. This includes but is not limited to policies relating to admission, scholarship distribution and athletics.

Luther High School South was established to provide Christian education in the Lutheran tradition. Students are required to take religion courses. All courses are taught in accord with the doctrines, principles and practices of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.

In keeping with the purpose for which Luther High School South exists, the following priority is given to applicants: Students who are members of congregations that hold membership in the Luther High School South Association. Students that are members of Lutheran congregations that do not hold membership in the Luther High School South Association.

Students who hold membership in other Christian congregations and who desire a Christian education. Students who have no church home but understand and accept the Christian philosophy upon which the Association is established.
