Junior High and Incoming Freshman Enrollment

1. First step is to take our Entrance Exam! Our Entrance Exam is the ACT Explore exam. Your acceptance is contingent upon your test scores, your report card. Most tests are held on Saturdays beginning at 9:00am during the school year and weekly during the summer. For more dates, check out the calendar page.
2. Additional information are required (Pastor/Principal Recommendations, Report Cards and 8th grade diploma from elementary school)
3. Students who test below grade level are required to have an admissions interview and to attend our bridge workshops the summer before their Freshman year.
4. Once you have been accepted your place is guaranteed by placing a $200.00 non-refundable deposit which can be made on Registration Night.

Transfer Enrollment

Any student who has attended high school, even for one quarter, is considered to be a transfer student. Student who have been home-schooled at the high school level are also considered transfer students. Transfer students should follow these steps:

1. Contact Lessie Hill, Guidance Director and Registrar, at Luther South 773-737-1416 ext. 2107.
2. Set-up a personal interview with Ms. Hoth, parents and the student.
3. Bring in all current grades and transcript at the time of the interview.

Acceptance is contingent upon acceptable grades, personal interview and previous school's recommendation. Applicants are advised of their status as soon as all necessary academic information and reference forms have been received.
