Eligibility Regulations

Two Week Eligibility - All Students

Students in good standing are eligible to participate in any school-sponsored activity involving teams, clubs, and organizations.

Any student who at the end of each two-week period, regardless of length of course, has a combined total of 2 or more D's and F's is ineligible to participate in any school related activity or privilege until the next two-week period, whichever comes first.

Students who are ineligible will be required to participate in an after school tutoring program on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:05 p.m. to 4:05 p.m. Students should report to the cafeteria for tutoring/study time. Teachers will be in the cafeteria to help students. Students who do not attend the study sessions will be assigned a detention to be served the next day. After two or more absences from tutoring, the student will be suspended from school. Each coach/director/moderator will have the authority to determine reinstatement policy for their respective activities.

Four Week Eligibility - All Students

There are four-week ineligibility periods that will require teachers to report ALL D's and F's at regular progress report times and marking periods.

One Week Eligibility - Athletes

In addition to the four week eligibility, athletic eligibility is determined weekly. Any athlete with 2 or more F's is ineligible for that week. Upon a second offense the student will be dismissed from the team.
